These steps are for staff who are not licensed for Adobe Acrobat (Pro).
If you are licensed for Adobe Acrobat (Pro), you can set it as your default PDF viewer using these steps:
Set Adobe Acrobat (Pro) as Default PDF Viewer
  1. Right-click any PDF file  you have saved in your files 
  2. Click Open with
  3. Click Choose another app
  4. Click Adobe Acrobat Reader
  5. Click Always
    1. You may have to checkmark 'Always use...' then click OK

If you run into any issues with PDFs opening in the wrong program after that, you may also need to disable the PDF viewer built in to Chrome and Edge:
