Set Adobe Acrobat (Pro) as Default PDF Viewer

These steps are for staff licensed for Adobe Acrobat (Pro).
If you are not, you can set Acrobat Reader as your default PDF viewer using these steps: 

  1. Right-click any PDF file  or  you have saved in your files 
  2. Click Open with
  3. Click Choose another app
    (Do not click Adobe Acrobat before selecting Choose another app on this screen)

  4. Click Adobe Acrobat
  5. Click Always




If you run into any issues with PDFs opening in the wrong program after that, you may also need to disable the PDF viewer built in to Chrome and Edge:
