Empty the Deleted Items Folder in Outlook (PC)

Empty the Deleted Items Folder in Outlook (PC)

When you delete an email in Outlook, the email is moved to the Deleted Items folder in Outlook.

The space for that email is not freed up, until either the Deleted Items folder is emptied, or that email is deleted from the Deleted Items folder.
To free up space, please clear out the Deleted Items folder every so often. There are several ways of doing this. The fastest way is to right-click on Deleted Items and select Empty Folder:
