DNET- Sending/Receiving Files

FROM YOUR NEXUS COMPUTER:

  1. Open your web browser and sign into this OneDrive link https://ilgov-my.sharepoint.com/ with your Illinois.gov credentials or select your .gov account
  2. Login to the Illinois Portal with your gov username and password (Do not include the @illinois.gov)

  3. On the left-hand side of the screen, you’ll see some different navigation options. Click on the “My Files” icon

  4. Click the “Upload” button on the top of the screen, and then select either Files or Folder.

  5. Another window will open up, allowing you to select the files you would like to save to OneDrive.
    If you click on Files, the system will continue to open all of the subfolders until you select your program file(s).
    If you click on Folder, you will be able to upload the contents of a single folder at once.
  6. Once the files/folders have been successfully uploaded, you can close out of the webpage.

 

FROM YOUR DNET DESKTOP / CITRIX:

  1. Open your web browser (or use the shortcut on the desktop) and sign into this OneDrive link https://ilgov-my.sharepoint.com/ with your Illinois.gov credentials or select your .gov account
  2. On the left hand side of the screen, you’ll see some different navigation options. Click on “My Files”.

  3. Identify the file(s) or folder(s) that you need to send via outlook.
  4. Hover over the file, and you will see an ellipsis appear.

  5. Click on the ellipsis and choose “Download”.
  6. Select your preferred destination for the download and hit save.

You now have your files downloaded to your Citrix remote desktop and can attach them to your Outlook emails.
