Connect to Public Wi-Fi in Windows
Occasionally you may need to use airport or hotel internet.
Issues connecting to or using these networks usually stem from an inability to access the login page (known as the “captive portal”) for the networks.
Please try using these instructions the next time you need to connect to one of these networks:
- Connect to the Wi-Fi network using the Wi-Fi symbol in the lower right-hand corner if you haven't already:

- Open Edge or Chrome, and go to http://neverssl.com
- You may be taken to the captive portal for the network you are trying to connect to.
- If you are: Please follow the instructions on the page to login and/or accept their terms and conditions.
- If you are not, and are instead taken to the “What?/How?/Why?” Neverssl.com page, please press SHIFT+F5 on your keyboard to force a refresh.
- If you are still not taken to the captive portal, try going to a different website such as https://www.nexusfamilyhealing.org If you can reach that, you are already connected.
- If the captive portal now loads, please follow the instructions on the page to login and/or accept their terms and conditions.
- Once you are connected and can access normal websites, please connect to "Nexus Always On VPN CA" in the Wi-Fi system tray:
