Identify the technology available in the room:

  1. Square Yealink touch controller
  2. Touch controller has no brand OR is a tripod item that says Yealink
  3. No touch controller
  4. No camera: this room cannot handle video calls through the TV/projector thus will not be addressed in the article at this time

1-Square Yealink touch controller

  1. If you reserved the room & meeting link is in that Outlook meeting then you simply tap Join in the room

2-Touch controller has no brand OR is a tripod item that says Yealink

  1. If you reserved the room & meeting link is in that Outlook meeting then you simply tap Join in the room

3-No touch controller resources

  1. Bring laptop to room
  2. Plug USB cables into laptop for speaker & webcam
  3. Plug video (HDMI) cable into laptop from the TV
  4. Turn on the TV

FAQ for rooms with no touch controller

  1. If TV doesn't show PC:
    1. Try to hit Fn+F8. You may need to select ‘Mirror’. If that doesn’t work look in the F1-12 keys for one that shows two screens ; once found hold Fn+ThatKey
    2. You may need to adjust the Input of the TV
  2. No audio on speakers: 
    Click speaker in bottom-right, click arrow at end of text, & change to anything that says USB
