Stop Office From Replacing EHR with HER
- Open Word. Type ehr then spacebar, it is changed it to Her
- Move your mouse over the word, a blue line appears, move towards line, & it turns to a box:
- Click the blue box then chose 'Stop Automatically...'
Alternative/Advanced Method
- On a computer, open Microsoft Word
- Go to File -> Options
- Open Proofing -> AutoCorrect Options
- Scroll down to ehr -> her, click on it, and click Delete.
- Press OK
- Press OK again
- If EHR is still being replaced with HER after completing this process, please save your work and restart your computer.
EHR should no longer get replaced with HER in any Microsoft Office programs, including Work, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
